The ball is tipped!
The 2026 NCAA tournament is now officially in the books, so it’s time for the annual, and iconic, look back through March Madness.
Michigan held on in the final minutes to beat UConn 69-63 on Monday night in the national championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. That gave the Wolverines their first national title since 1989, and the Big Ten conference’s first championship since Tom Izzo and Michigan State won in 2000.

So with the title game now behind us, the NCAA dropped the annual “One Shining Moment” highlight tape, marking the official end of March Madness. The roughly three-minute montage includes clips, highlights, lowlights, buzzer-beaters and more from the last few weeks of the tournament, ending with the Wolverines’ win on Monday night. From Iowa’s historic run through the tournament with a game-winner over No. 1 Florida, to St. John’s wild buzzer-beating layup over Kansas and more, the video has it all.
And, of course, it’s all set to David Barrett’s iconic song that has become the anthem for the NCAA tournament over the last few decades.
With the latest edition of “One Shining Moment” now out into the world for everyone’s enjoyment, March Madness is officially behind us. We’ll see you next year.
