Kansas State basketball sees first transfer portal exit in Stephen Osei

MANHATTAN — The first bit of transfer portal news for Kansas State basketball came in the form of Stephen Osei’s reported departure from the program.

Osei played in three games for the Wildcats in 2025-26, totalling nine minutes and two points in non-conference play. Sam Kayser of League Ready, a popular basketball recruiting social media account, reported Osei’s expected departure on Monday, March 30.

The 6-foot-10 sophomore wing transferred to the Wildcats before the 2025-26 season after playing one season at juco Casper College (Wyoming). The Toronto native was one of several international players on Jerome Tang’s roster.
