The University of Arizona has been playing solid collegiate ball in the last few years. It has risen to even greater heights this season, booking a place in the NCAA Tournament Final Four.
Following Elite Eight exits in their previous two campaigns, the Wildcats are now one of four teams left from the complete field of 64 that can lay their hands on the national championship trophy. They are joined by the Michigan Wolverines, Illinois Fighting Illini and UConn Huskies.

Basketball Hall-of-Famer Chris Webber is not at all surprised that Arizona is where it is right now, seeing how it has built a team set for greater success in March Madness than any team in college basketball at the moment.
C-Webb, a member of Michigan’s “Fab Five” in the 1990s, spoke about it on “The Rich Eisen Show”, highlighting how the current Wildcats are boasting a near-complete game to be a handful for the competition.
“Oh, I see grown men play. Out of Arizona, I see grown men play. I see guys that can get their own shot, and in college usually you only have one or two players that can get your own shot. I see bigs, and they go inside. And what I like about Arizona, they aren’t three-point heavy. They go inside and out as well. And I think that’s really what you have to have in this game is a traditional game,” the five-time NBA All-Star shared.

“They’ll get you in foul trouble. They wear you down with body blows and those types of things. I don’t think people really realize, and I don’t know if statistics, uh, necessarily really show the true impact of what it does to keep wearing on a big fella inside… And that’s really what they do to you with that Arizona team. So, I see great coaching. I see great skill and some tough guys,” he added.
