After the fallout of Duke’s upset loss to UConn, more details were bound to surface. In the final ten seconds of the game, Jon Scheyer’s team was put into a situation that they specifically prepared them for.

The moment when Cayden Boozer opted to pass over the top of the press and not around it or allowing them to foul was not the first time this Duke team had seen that exact scenario. A coach cannot make the play for his team. Just like a coach can only prepare a team for their opponent and potential situational basketball.
