Florida State’s Cam Miles intends to enter NCAA transfer portal

Florida State freshman point guard Cam Miles plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal after one season with the Seminoles, first reported by On3.

Miles appeared in 25 games for FSU, averaging 5.4 points, 1.0 rebound and 1.7 assists per game. He shot 36.1% from the field and 21.6% from 3-point range during his lone season in Tallahassee.

A Chicago native, Miles was a three-star prospect out of IMG Academy. Rivals ranked him No. 21 in Florida, the No. 24 point guard in the 2025 recruiting class and No. 191 overall. He originally committed to Temple before flipping to Florida State, citing a desire to be closer to his family in Orlando.

Miles is expected to become the first Seminoles player to enter the portal, which officially opens April 7. Florida State finished 18-15 overall and 10-8 in the ACC in Luke Loucks’ first season as head coach.

With Miles’ departure, FSU has now lost seven players from last season’s roster, six of whom were seniors. The Seminoles are set to add five incoming freshmen this summer.
