The former Louisville High School All-Ohioan confirmed he has an official visit to Northern Illinois scheduled for March 28. He has also heard from Akron, Chattanooga, Mercyhurst and Southern Mississippi.

Walsh’s Brayden Gross puts up a shot defended by Michigan Tech’s Grant Warren in the second half of the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional final, Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Gross made a big impact in his first season at Walsh. The 6-foot-7 forward started all 25 games and averaged 13 points and seven rebounds. He helped lead the Cavaliers to G-MAC regular season and tournament titles and a spot in the third round of the NCAA Division II Tournament for the third time in program history.

Gross, who helped lead Louisville to a Division III state title last year, is the second Walsh player to enter the portal. Guard Quinn Barnett made his announcement on March 23.
