Grizzlies rule Ja Morant out for rest of season due to elbow sprain

Ja Morant is officially done for the season, the Memphis Grizzlies announced Tuesday.

The Grizzlies point guard, who has not played since Jan. 21, will not return to the team as he continues to experience discomfort in his left elbow after a sprained UCL. It has reportedly been recommended that he receive a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection in the elbow to aid ligament healing.

The procedure will render Morant unable to play for the rest of 2025-26, but he is expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2026-27 season.
