UPDATE: Frogs O’ War 2025 NCAA Tournament Survivor Pool, March 20

The opening day of the NCAA Tournament delivered the Madness, from TCU’s thrilling win over Ohio State all the way through the late night slate. There were six seed-line upsets on Thursday causing chaos to the bracket and sending a third of our pool packing with an eliminating loss in the first day. The most devastating result for our field was the annual 12-seed upset over a No. 5-seed with High Point and Chase Johnston delivering a knockout punch to the Wisconsin Badgers, eliminating 15 of our entrants. The other stunner was North Carolina surrendering a 19-point lead to eventually fall in overtime to 11-seed VCU Rams. Several of our entrants also went the risky route in selections for Thursday, getting burned by BYU, Georgia, Saint Mary’s, and South Florida. We also saw five entrants, including defending champion Haterade, eliminated via a lack of faith in the Horned Frogs, choosing Ohio State for Day 1.
