Penn likely wouldn’t have stood a chance against the Yale Bulldogs without ex-Duke forward TJ Power in the Ivy League conference tournament final, but luckily for the Quakers, that was not the case.

The forward delivered the first 40-point game in Ivy League Tournament history. Originally, he was the first to score 30 since Bryce Aiken for Harvard in 2019.

He finished the game with 44 points on 53% shooting from the field, and he also shot 50% from beyond the arc (7-for-14), along with going a perfect 9-for-9 from the line. Here’s the rundown from today’s game when he became just the second player in the last 20 seasons to record 40-plus points and 10-plus rebounds in a conference championship game.

Power hit seven threes today, including a desperation shot from the right wing to send the championship to overtime. He had 23 points at halftime before finishing with the second-most points by a Penn player in school history.
