Selection Sunday is almost upon us. The 68-team field on the men’s basketball side will be revealed on CBS at 3 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 15. The women’s basketball bracket will be publicized on ESPN at 5 p.m. PT later the same day. Both bracket releases can also be viewed on all streaming platforms, such as YouTube TV, Fubo, etc.
At this point in time, according to ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi, coach Mark Few’s group is projected to be the No. 3 seed in the West region against the No. 14 UC Irvine Anteaters out of the Big West Conference. The first-round matchup would take place at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. BracketMatrix calls Lunardi the most accurate of all the different bracketologists.

Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Gonzaga has the tenth-best odds to end up cutting the nets at the national championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on April 6. They are tied with the Big 12 Conference’s Kansas Jayhawks and the Big East Conference’s St. John’s Red Storm at +5000.
For coach Lisa Fortier’s team, ESPN Bracketologist Charlie Creme has the Zags listed as the No. 12 seed against the No. 5 Ole Miss Rebels out of the Southeastern Conference. The first-round matchup would be in the Sacramento region at the University of Minnesota’s Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
