Who Duke basketball faces during the last week of the regular season

It’s the final week of the 2025-26 college basketball regular season.

Duke basketball opens the week on the road at N.C. State on Monday, March 2 and closes it with a rematch against UNC at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday, March 7.

No. 1 Blue Devils (27-2, 15-1 ACC), which sit atop NCAA NET rankings, are coming off a dominant 77-51 home win over No. 11/12 Virginia for their 10th win over a ranked opponent this season. It also marked their fifth double-digit win over a ranked opponent this season.

Duke earned a share of the ACC regular season title with its win over Virginia and clinched the No. 1 seed in the upcoming ACC tournament. It needs to win one of its two remaining regular season games to claim the regular season title outright.

Who does Duke basketball play this week?

Duke opens the week at the Lenovo Center against N.C. State (19-10, 10-6) and first-year head coach Will Wade on Monday, March 2 (7 p.m. ET, ESPN). The Wolfpack are coming off a 96-90 loss on the road in overtime to Notre Dame and have lost four of their last five. Their one win during that span came over UNC on Feb. 17, 82-58, with the Tar Heels without Caleb Wilson and Henri Veesar.

The Blue Devils lead the all-time series over the Wolfpack 83-52 and are 6-4 in the last 10 meetings. On the road against N.C. State, Duke sits at an even 27-27, having won two out of its last five at the Lenovo Center.

Duke then closes out its regular season with a rematch against UNC on Saturday, March 7 (6:30 p.m. ET, ESPN), which took Duke down 71-68 on Feb. 7 behind a Seth Trimble go-ahead 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left. It gave the Tar Heels (23-6, 11-5) their first and only lead of the game, which was all they needed to take down the Blue Devils.

The Blue Devils are 32-29 overall at home against the Tar Heels, winning two out of the last five games against UNC at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
