About UConn: The Huskies come into Philadelphia off of a tough 91-84 home loss to Creighton, which combined with the road loss at St. John’s has Connecticut at 2-2 in its last four games. Since his 8-point performance against Villanova, Braylon Mullins has scored in double-digits in each of the six games that he’s played in. In those games, the star freshman is averaging 15 points per outing on 41.7% from deep. Junior forward Jayden Ross, who went scoreless in 19 minutes against the Wildcats, has scored in his past six games, averaging 5 points per contest. Ross is 7/10 from three-point range over that stretch.

Notes on Nova: The Wildcats are coming in a six-game winning streak since the 75-67 overtime loss to these same Huskies four weeks ago. In the most recent outing against Xavier, Bryce Lindsay broke out of his long slump with a 15-point performance on 5/11 shooting. The last time these two played, Lindsay and Acaden Lewis combined to shoot 1/21 from the floor and 0/10 from three. Needless to say, Villanova will need better performances from those two if the win streak is going to extend to seven come Saturday night.
