The Tar Heels are in Coral Gables to take on the Miami Hurricanes in their first matchup since taking down Duke in the Dean Dome. UNC’s biggest opponent in this game will be having a hangover from such a crazy game, but it’s also worth noting that the Hurricanes are doing well this season. Two of their three losses in ACC play were on the road, but at home things have been mostly solid aside from the blip against Florida State.
One has to wonder if UNC will be sharp defensively to start this game. That definitely wasn’t the case against Duke, but something tells me that should they slack against the Hurricanes in the first 20 minutes, it may be a tough hole to climb out of. They have been masters at digging out of holes recently when looking at the Blue Devils game and the one against Virginia, but how many times can a team reasonably do that? Let’s hope that we do not have to find out the answer to that question.
As always, feel free to hang out with us in the comments section, and we will be back after the game with post-game analysis and takes. Until then, Go Heels!
