Bold predictions in College Basketball this weekend

Most of the country may be dealing with low temperatures and a winter storm, but that isn’t stopping college basketball from heating up! As we move closer to March, more and more high-profile games with season-altering implications are scheduled, and this weekend has a lot of them. Here are our bold predictions for the weekend!

Michigan beats Michigan State by 15+

I just don’t think that Michigan State possesses the right type of lineup to beat Michigan. You have to beat the Wolverines with elite outside shooting, because no one scores inside against the trio of Yaxel Lendeborg, Morez Johnson Jr, and Aday Mara. Nebraska almost found the formula earlier in the week, but I don’t think Michigan State can replicate it.

NBA scouts will surely be in attendance in Lawrence on Saturday as the potential #1 and #2 picks in the draft go head-to-head. Road conference wins wouldn’t be anything new for Kentucky, as they went into Tennessee two Saturdays ago and beat the Volunteers. I also like the matchup here for the Wildcats – Kentucky’s bigger backcourt with Denzel Aberdeen and Otega Oweh has the potential to give Arkansas fits, as the Razorbacks have struggled against bigger…
