As we get deeper into the Holidays, UNC continues playing basketball. The Tar Heels return to the basketball court Tuesday night, hosting the ETSU Buccaneers for an 8 p.m. tip-off.

North Carolina survived an early scare from USC Upstate on Saturday, winning 80-62 behind a 17-point outing from West Virginia transfer Jonathan Powell. The Tar Heels (9-1) trailed by one late in the first half, then watched their second-half lead dwindle to eight, but shot the ball well throughout.

ETSU is already 8-3, but lacks a quality victory on its schedule. The Buccaneers will try and play spoiler in Chapel Hill, but UNC is just as eager to win its 10th game.

The Chapel Hill native started each of UNC’s first 10 games – and is thriving. Stevenson, a defensive-minded forward who can score in a punch, already has career-bests of 26.9 minutes, 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game, plus a 71.6 percent mark on free throws.
