What a night it was for the Ohio State basketball team in Cleveland Saturday night. What looked like a sure loss turned into one of the most exciting comebacks and last-second victories we’ve seen in a long, long time. It was enough to turn the most pessimistic Buckeye fan into a hopeful one, and we can all hope that it is a momentum-building moment for a team looking to get back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in four years.
Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler made his way to the postgame press conference and was understandably elated and encouraged by the way the Buckeyes battled back and found a way to win a game that could be a feather in the cap when it comes to the NCAA Selection Committee’s view of the team.

Watch and listen to Diebler — flanked by Bruce Thornton and Amare Bynum — talk about his team’s fight, the play of the two men that joined him in the press conference, how tough it was to play against West Virginia, and more.
Ohio State will next be in action this coming Saturday when it takes on the storied program of North Carolina as part of the CBS Sports Classic in Atlanta.
