Alabama basketball gets Keitenn Bristow vs Arizona: Will Holloway return?

Alabama basketball will walk into its match up against a top-ranked Arizona team less injury bitten than it was for UTSA last weekend.

Per a report from Jon Rothstein on Thursday, Dec. 11, Florida State transfer forward Taylor Bol Bowen and Tarleton State transfer forward Keitenn Bristow will be available to face the Wildcats.

After starting for the entirety of the 2025-26 season, Bol Bowen didn’t make the starting lineup due to back spasms just minutes before tip off against UTSA. Bristow, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, hasn’t played for the No. 12 Crimson Tide since the final game of the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas.

Rothstein also reported that junior guard Aden Holloway is likely to be a gametime decision. Holloway has been out with a wrist injury since Nov. 26.

With no new updates on veteran guard Latrell Wrightsell Jr. (leg), there’s a positive prognosis that he’ll be available once again for the C.M. Newton Classic at Legacy Arena in the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex this weekend. Wrightsell returned to action in the 97-55 victory over the Roadrunners, making his first start since Illinois on Nov. 19.

Alabama (7-2) is scheduled to tip off against Arizona (8-0) at 8:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 13. The game will be televised on ESPN, which can be streamed via Sling, Fubo and ESPN+.
