How To Watch Indiana’s Big Ten Opener at Minnesota on Wednesday Night

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Indiana is off to a good start to this 2025-26 college basketball season, winning its first seven games. Now it gets real on Wednesday night, when the Hoosiers open the Big Ten conference season at Minnesota.

Indiana has two December conference games. They will play Penn State at home on Tuesday night.

The Gophers are just 4-4 on the season under first-year coach Niko Medved, He’ll square off with another first-year coach, Darian DeVries of Indiana.

Both have had to rebuild rosters from scratch. DeVries has had more success so far. Minnesota has lost four of its past five games, and their four losses are the most in the Big Ten.

Indiana has had good success against the Gophers, winning nine straight. Forward Tucker DeVries is Indiana’s leading scorer, averaging 17.9 points a game. Senior forward Cade Tyson, who’s at his third school (Belmont, North Carolina) in four years, leads the Gophers with a 22.4 points per game average.
