First-half barrage shoots Colorado State basketball past Wichita State

First it was a few.

Then it was a lot of buckets.

Once the Colorado State men’s basketball team was up to double-digit makes in a row it really became remarkable.

That’s right. CSU made 15 field goals in a row in the first-half of a Nov. 27 game in the Battle 4 Atlantis.

That’s offensive barrage powered the Rams to a 76-70 win over Wichita State.

Wichita State (4-3) entered the game 15th in the nation in defending the two-point shot, allowing just 42% of makes inside the arc.

“They’ve done that all year long. They’ve shared the wealth, they’ve spaced it, they’ve moved it and we have a dynamic group,” CSU coach Ali Farokhmanesh said. “We have multiple guys that can score and put the ball in the basket.”

The Rams finished the game with 21 assists on 29 field goals.
