Michigan State basketball had a very nice Thanksgiving this year.
The Spartans led throughout most the game, and used a late push to pull away for the double-digit victory over North Carolina in the Fort Myers Tipoff Classic. The Spartans turned a single-possession game into a 74-58 win across the final eight minutes to remain unbeaten on the year.

A number of Spartans shined in this victory, including Jeremy Fears Jr. — who had a career-high 19 points and also dished out seven assists. Jaxon Kohler had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Carson Cooper was a scoring threat with 14 points. Cam Ward also provided 11 points off the bench.
Michigan State is now 7-0 on the year and holds wins over three ranked teams along the way (Arkansas, Kentucky and North Carolina. Next up for the Spartans is a matchup with Iowa in their Big Ten opener on Tuesday.
