Updated Big 12 basketball power rankings ahead of Thanksgiving slate

The college basketball season has now entered its busiest nonconference portion with a multitude of top-flight games during the Thanksgiving holiday week.

Across the Big 12 Conference, games like Iowa State’s 83-82 win over St. John’s, Arizona State taking down Texas and No. 2 Houston narrowly beating unranked Syracuse in overtime headline what has happened so far. Not to mention No. 9 BYU’s beatdown of a ranked Wisconsin team.

The Big 12 looks, as it has through the first few weeks of the season, like the best conference in college basketball with Houston and Arizona forming a two-headed monster at the top. BYU and Iowa State are lurking right below the two heavuweights.
