Predicting The Michigan State Spartans at Iowa Hawkeyes Football Score

Happy Friday, TOC. Just two more weeks of our season as we are officially not going bowling, though most of us already knew that would be the case. The final true road game of 2025 takes the Spartans to Iowa City to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Here is what the TOC writers are predicting for this game, as well as some picks on the other top games of the week.

In the comments, we want to see what you think the final score will be.

Mike: I think similar to Penn State. MSU hangs in for a while but then the dam eventually bursts sometime in the second half. 38-7 Iowa.

Lucas: Spartans once again look good early on with a nice scripted touchdown drive, but the offense stalls in the second half. Defensively, another good performance crumbles late as the experience of Mark Gronowski stands out. Iowa 20 MSU 13.

O: You can read my thoughts on the Iowa site. Needless to say, I don’t expect much from our team at this point. I went with 35-17 Iowa.

Now on to the rest of the games. There are only a pair of top 25 games this weekend as many SEC teams are playing non-con cupcakes ahead of their finales. Spoiler alert: we all see eye to eye on these games.
