The Wisconsin men’s basketball team has moved up one spot in the USA Today Sports Coaches Poll ahead of its biggest test of the nonconference schedule.
The Badgers are now No. 21 in the coaches poll — up from No. 22 — after the second week of the season. UW is at No. 23 in the AP Poll, which is up one spot from the No. 24 spot that UW occupied in the preseason poll and poll after the first week of games.

Wisconsin went 1-0 in the last week of games as it eased past Ball State. After an early-week game against SIU-Edwardsville, the Badgers will have their biggest test of the season so far against No. 10 BYU.
The Cougars are 3-1 so far this season, with the one loss being a narrow 86-84 defeat to then-No. 3 Connecticut in a UConn-friendly neutral site at the TD Garden in Boston.
