The college basketball season is finally coming to an end, as the two Final Four games are played tomorrow, while the National Championship Game comes on Monday evening in San Antonio.
While the Wisconsin Badgers bowed out early in the Round of 32, March Madness has still had its moments, with each of the Final Four teams being some of the best ever, efficiency-wise, all of time.
With just two more days of college basketball left, we ran our national poll to gauge who the public believes will win the National Championship in 2025, and the results were certainly interesting.
Duke was the overwhelming favorite to win the title at 55 percent, with no other team reaching a 20 percent vote. Interestingly enough, Houston earned the second-most votes at 17 percent, so a majority of fans believe that the winner of the Duke vs. Houston game will ultimately end up as the champion.
Auburn and Florida each had equal voting percentages to win at 14 percent, coming behind the Blue Devils and the Cougars.
Looking at the national odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, Florida is a 2.5-point favorite over Auburn, while Duke is a 5.5-point favorite over Houston. Duke currently has the best odds to win the National Championship at -115, while Florida is second at +315. Houston comes after that at +430 odds, while Auburn is fourth at +550 odds.
The Final Four tips off at 5:09 p.m. Central on Saturday in San Antonio, as Florida will take on Auburn first before Duke and Houston are scheduled to tip off at approximately 7:49 p.m. Central.
