Florida State men’s basketball coach Luke Loucks picked up another transfer portal player on Tuesday evening.

Former St. Bonaventure’s power forward La’Jae Jones announced on his social page that he has officially signed with the Seminoles. He is the second transfer to pledge for Loucks’ 2025 class, joining former Drexel guard Kobe MaGee.

Jones, a Neptune Beach native, visited FSU last weekend and was planning on looking at other options.

The 6-foot-7 wing started 33 of the 34 games in one season at St. Bonaventure. He averaged 10.8 points a game and 5.8 rebounds a game. He also shot 45.6 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from 3.

Prior to playing with the Bonnies, he spent a year at Barton College (2023-24). The Fletcher High graduate started his college career at Tarleton State (2022-23), where he played 10 games and averaged 3.6 points.
