Tennessee basketball continues in March Madness with Friday’s Sweet 16 game against 3-seed Kentucky in Indianapolis.
The Vols (29-7) outlasted UCLA 67-58 in Saturday’s second-round game in Lexington, led by Chaz Lanier’s 20 points.
Kentucky (24-11) kept Illinois at arm’s length all game long in last Sunday’s second-round victory. Kentucky and Tennessee will play in the NCAA Tournament for the first time.
The winner will face the Houston-Purdue winner in Sunday’s Elite Eight game.
