Washburn men’s basketball head coach Brett Ballard spoke to the media on Friday previewing next week’s Elite 8 matchup.

No. 4 Washburn (29-3) men’s basketball takes on No. 5 Lenoir-Rhyne (29-5) in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight on Tuesday. It is Washburn’s first Elite Eight appearance since 2001 after they won last week’s Central Region Championship.
