Tennessee added a surprise flip for its 2025 basketball recruiting class.
2025 point guard prospect Troy Henderson committed to the Vols Tuesday. “1000% commitment,” Henderson said on X.
The 6-foot-1 180-pound prospect plays for John Marshall High School in Richmond, Virginia. Marshall defeated Graham High School, 107-81 ,in the Virginia Class 2 Basketball State Finals.

Tennessee was Henderson’s lone Power Five offer. Henderson’s additional offers included High Point, Murray State, and University of Texas Arlington.
Tennessee’s 2025 basketball recruiting class has expanded to three members with the addition of Henderson.
