It’s a battle between coaching legends.

St. John’s, No. 2 in the West Regional, will play 10th-seeded Arkansas in the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament in Providence, Rhode Island, on Saturday.

It’s a matchup of legendary coaches in Rick Pitino of St. John’s and John Calipari of Arkansas.

Pitino has 885 career NCAA victories to Calipari’s 876 wins. Calipari has 58 NCAA Tournament victories to Pitino’s 54.

Calipari is 13-10 all-time vs. Pitino.
