UNC is already busy in the transfer portal.
Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels are hoping to continue their NCAA Tournament run as they get set to face off against Ole Miss on Friday in Milwaukee. They are fresh off a win over San Diego State in Dayton and have some momentum built.
But even with that, the future of the program is important and the Tar Heels have their eyes on a potential target in the transfer portal.
Nevada forward Nick Davidson has entered the portal and is drawing a lot of interest from programs, including North Carolina. Per Joe Tipton of On3, the Tar Heels are one of several programs to reach out to the talented forward already.
Davidson entered the portal this week after spending four seasons at Nevada. He has one year left of eligibility after earning a redshirt year during his career.

The forward had a career-high 15.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 28 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game this year. He shot over 50 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from the three-point line.
