The Orange and Blue opened its 2025 postseason run with a 95-81 win over the Missouri Tigers in the quarterfinal round of the SEC Tournament on Friday night. Not only does Florida advance to the next round, but it also earned revenge for an earlier loss to Mizzou that turned out to be the program’s only home loss this season.
Todd Golden’s gang never trailed in this one but it was still a well-contested battle — as they always seem to be in the conference this season. One has to wonder if the loss of Tigers forward Mark Mitchell was the difference-maker, but all that matters is the ink printed on the final scoresheet.
