HUNTSVILLE, Ala. − Middle Tennessee State men’s basketball is one step closer to March Madness.

The third-seeded Blue Raiders (22-10) will face No. 2 Jacksonville State (21-11) in the Conference USA Tournament semifinal on Friday (2 p.m., ESPN+) at the Von Braun Center.

MTSU earned a spot in the semifinals with a 77-75 double-overtime win over Louisiana Tech in Thursday’s quarterfinal.

The winner plays in the championship game at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

MTSU split with Jacksonville State in the regular season, winning 81-64 at home in early January before falling on the road 77-63 on Feb. 6.
