Pair of Spartans listed as top NIL earners in February

A pair of Spartan male athletes were considered top earners in NIL for the month of February.

The NIL Store released their top male athlete earners for the month of February, and two Spartans cracked the top 10 list. Michigan State men’s basketball point guard Tre Holloman was No. 2 on the list behind only Duke star and future top pick in the NBA Draft Cooper Flagg. Michigan State men’s hockey captain Red Savage was No. 5 on the list.

It was an eventful month for Holloman in February, as he hit one of the biggest shots of the entire college basketball season in a thrilling win over Maryland. That shot propelled Michigan State into the road upset victory over the Terps and helped them capture the Big Ten championship the following week.

Savage was somewhat surprisingly in the top 10 as he didn’t play at all in February. Savage was ruled out for the season with an injury in late January.
