Montana State star perfectly summed up their March Madness-clinching buzzer-beater

Montana State Bobcats, you’re going to the Big Dance!

We have action, folks. THIS. IS. MARCHHHHHH. (*300 voice*; Sorry, I’ll show myself out.) The Montana State women’s basketball team just pulled off one of the gutsiest game-winning shots I’ve seen in quite some time. It had ALL THE DRAMA.

Down by one point. Only seconds remaining in regulation. A shot goes up.

IT HITS THE BACKBOARD.

There’s a gaggle of people under the basket, fighting for positioning to get the rebound.

Then, Montana State’s Marah Dystra comes at just the right moment to toss the ball back into the hoop super casually. NO BIG DEAL. GAME-WINNER. A PUTBACK BUZZER-BEATER to win the Big Sky conference and attend March Madness.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, MARAH DYSTRA?! THIS IS MAGNIFICENT.

As you might imagine, Montana State always believed it could win. Here’s star guard Esmeralda Morales chatting about the moment postgame.

“There’s seven seconds. Anything can happen,” Morales said. “It’s March Madness. We knew they were gonna pressure me, especially. So, it’s like somebody else. Like, why force it for me? Marah can go, and then, she did.”

The Bobcats men’s team was also watching that magical moment, and they had the best response, too.
