The Oklahoma Sooners arrived in Nashville in a pretty solid spot to make the NCAA Tournament but gave their tournament hopes a boost with an 81-75 win over the Georgia Bulldogs in the opening round of the SEC Tournament.

Oklahoma started the first half shooting the basketball well, hitting 51% from the field and 55.5% from three. OU was 10 of 18 from downtown, which helped them overcome a deficit on the offensive glass and a half in which they turned the ball over nine times.

Fears was great from three in the game, going 4-for-7, including 3-for-4 in the first half.
