Where did Texas A&M basketball land in the US LBM Coaches poll after Week 19?

[ad_1]

The Texas A&M (22-9, 11-4 SEC) basketball team went 2-0 in Week 19, beating both No. 1 Auburn and unranked LSU. The Aggies ended the 2025 regular season on a two-game winning streak headed into the SEC tournament.

The Aggies started Week 19 with a historic win, recording their highest-ranked win when they beat No. 1 Auburn at Reed Arena on Senior Night. They capped off the week with a comeback road win over LSU to lock in a first-round bye in the conference tournament.

Wade Taylor IV and Henry Coleman also both made history in the final regular game of the season. Taylor became the All-time career leader in points scored, and Coleman became the first player in Aggie history to 1,200 points, 750 rebounds, with 130 steals. Ending on such a high note will help them regain some confidence and momentum leading into the post season.

With Auburn losing its last two games, the Tigers dropped two spots to No. 3 while Duke takes over the No. 1 spot for the first time this season. The biggest jump was from Illinois, who went from unranked to No. 25 after jumping 11 spots. A&M’s recent success moved them up five spots to No. 16 after their last two games of the regular season.
