Auburn fans react to Tigers’ tough loss to Alabama on Saturday

The No. 1 Auburn Tigers dropped their second-straight game on Saturday, losing a heartbreaker to No. 8 Alabama at Neville Arena in Auburn.

Auburn forced overtime with a layup by forward Johni Broome with 0:59 remaining to tie the game at 79-79. The teams traded leads over the first three minutes of the overtime period before jumped out to a three-point lead with 0:30 remaining. Broome responded by nailing a three-pointer with 0:15 left to tie the game at 91-91. The game ended with Alabama guard Mark Sears tipping in a layup as the clock expired, giving the Crimson Tide the 93-91 win.
