The Knicks are adding another name to their roster.

New York is claiming former Celtics forward Anton Watson on a two-day deal, Watson’s agents tell ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Watson was drafted by Boston out of Gonzaga in the second round (54th overall pick) of last year’s NBA Draft. The 24-year-old spent five seasons at Gonzaga, and in his final season averaged 14.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

The Celtics waived Watson on Monday after not logging any minutes this season.

For the Knicks, adding Watson comes after the team waived Matt Ryan and Jacob Toppin on Sunday and signed forward MarJon Beauchamp a day later. Watson and Beauchamp fill the two-way roster spots left open by Ryan and Toppin.
