LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball just suffered a second-straight defeat Monday, with its loss on the road against No. 3 Houston.

Even defeating Creighton would lead to the likelihood Self’s team would have to upset a No. 1 seed in Auburn, who many would pick at this moment to win the national championship. As much as KU would be an uncommon opponent in a moment like this, that doesn’t guarantee Kansas would be a popular upset selection to reach the Sweet 16.
