Mady Sissoko sets new career highs in scoring, rebounding to help Cal beat Boston College

[ad_1]

After spending four years with the Michigan State basketball program, Mady Sissoko transferred over to Cal this past offseason to round out his college basketball career. Over the weekend, Sissoko had his best college game ever, setting new career-highs in both points scored and rebounds collected to help the Golden Bears beat Boston College on Saturday, 82 to 71.

Sissoko scored 21 points and nabbed 15 rebounds in the win. Sissoko is averaging career-highs in both points scored and rebounds for the Golden Bears at 7.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in a career-high 26 minutes per game.

While it hasn’t been a great season for Cal and they will miss the NCAA Tournament, Sissoko has done well with his increased minutes and might be able to leverage that production into a pro career overseas after his eligibility is up.
