Where does Clemson sit in updated NET rankings and KenPom after win at Virginia?

The 13th-ranked Clemson Tigers continued on their winning ways Saturday in a 71-58 come-from-behind victory over Virginia at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville.

The Tigers’ 13-point road win was their sixth straight victory, their seventh consecutive road win, and their 10th win away from home overall this season. They’re 8-1 on the road in ACC play.

Clemson (24-5 overall, 16-2 ACC) got 21 points from Ian Schieffelin on his 22nd birthday, including 13 in the second half as Brad Brownell’s team erased a 10-point deficit to lead by as many as 15 after a 20-2 run. Schieffelin also had 13 rebounds for his 10th double-double of the season, and fellow big man Viktor Lakhin added 14 points to go with eight rebounds and five assists.

Saturday’s game at Virginia was a Quad 2 victory for Clemson, which moved up three spots to No. 20 in the NET rankings as of Sunday morning. Two teams Clemson passed are scheduled to square off against one another later in the day Sunday: Illinois and Michigan. The Tigers are two spots behind Rick Pitino’s St. John’s Red Storm and one spot behind the Kansas Jayhawks. They’re 4-2 in Quad 1 games and 7-2 in games against Quad 2 opponents.

In the updated KenPom ratings, Clemson climbed two spots from this time last week to No. 17. KenPom rates the Tigers as the nation’s 16th best team in offensive efficiency (120.9) and 24th in defensive efficiency (96.3). Their overall rating improved from +24.00 to +24.61 after Saturday’s win.

Clemson heads to Boston College for its final road game of the season Wednesday night in Chestnut Hill. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPNU.
