Oklahoma State basketball lands four-star center Ben Ahmed in 2025 recruiting class

The Oklahoma State men’s basketball team secured a commitment from four-star prospect Ben Ahmed on Saturday.

Ahmed is a 6-foot-9 center who’s originally from Kaduna State, Nigeria, and he’s playing high school basketball in Connecticut. He’s ranked by 247Sports as the No. 105 player in the Class of 2025.

Ahmed originally signed to Miami last November, but he requested a release earlier this month following head coach Jim Larrañaga’s decision to step down. And after visiting OSU this week, he ultimately committed to the Cowboys.

Ahmed is the third player to join OSU’s 2025 recruiting class. The Cowboys have also signed four-star guard Ryan Crotty and three-star center Mekhi Ragland.
