Former Xavier head coach and player Chris Mack earned his 300th career win as a head coach with College of Charleston’s 94-84 victory Thursday night against Delaware. Former Musketeers forward Lazar Djokovic scored 15 points for the Cougars.

Mack is 22-8 in his first season as the Cougars’ head coach. He was 63-36 in four seasons at Louisville from 2018 to 2022. And his record as Xavier’s head coach from 2009 to 2018 was 215-97.

Mack has won more games than any head coach in XU history. Mack, who grew up in Cincinnati and starred at St. Xavier High School, was an assistant under Sean Miller at XU from 2004 to 2009. Mack replaced Miller as Xavier’s head coach when Miller left for Arizona.
