Iowa State basketball starting guard Keshon Gilbert will miss Tuesday night’s game against Oklahoma State, the Cyclones announced on social media.
It will be the second game in a row that Gilbert’s missed because of a muscle strain.
Gilbert is second on the team with 14.1 points per game. The Bob Cousy Award candidate, an accolade given to the nation’s top point guard, is also averaging 3.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 50.0% from the floor.
The Cyclones are coming off a 68-59 loss at Houston on Saturday, in which ISU was without its top-two scorers in Curtis Jones (illness) and Gilbert.
