March Madness: Iowa women’s basketball climbing seeds in bracketology with recent play

[ad_1]

The month of March is just days away, and that means postseason college basketball is rapidly approaching for the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team.

They are on a two-game skid after dropping back-to-back nail-biters to the Ohio State Buckeyes and UCLA Bruins, two teams in the top 10 in the country. Despite the losses, the Hawkeyes seemed to have turned a corner and proven to themselves and the nation that they can play with any team.

That sort of confidence can be critical in March when streaky teams hitting their stride at the right moment can turn things upside down. Iowa has the potential to do that and is being rewarded as so with a climb in ESPN’s recent bracketology.
