Florida basketball will look to extend its four-game win streak when it hosts Oklahoma on Tuesday night.
The No. 2 Florida Gators (22-3, 9-3 SEC) improved to 12-1 at home on the season with an 88-67 win over South Carolina at the O’Connell Center on Friday night.
Florida is 2-3 all-time against Oklahoma but this is the first meeting between the two schools in Gainesville. Oklahoma has won the last three meetings between the two schools, including a 62-53 win the last time the two schools played on Dec. 20, 2022 at the Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte, N.C.
UF’s last win against Oklahoma came on Jan. 28, 2017, when the Gators routed the Sooners in Norman, Okla., 84-52 in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge.
Oklahoma (16-9, 3-9 SEC) is looking to snap a four-game losing streak, The Sooners are led this season by senior forward Jalon Moore (17.2 ppg) and freshman point guard Jeremiah Fears (15.2 ppg, 3.8 apg). Florida is led by senior point guard Walter Clayton Jr., who leads UF in scoring (17.2 ppg) and assists (4.3 apg).
