UNC basketball program offers five-star recruit

Despite the struggles the North Carolina Tar Heels are having this season, they are getting set to welcome in a top 10 recruiting class for 2025 headlined by Caleb Wilson. That class as well as the 2026 classes will be the key to future success for the program, so it’s important they find a way to land talented prospects.

And on Monday, they officially entered the race for a five-star recruit in the 2026 cycle.

Power forward Toni Bryant officially landed an offer from Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels on Monday night, picking up his 20th offer in his recruitment. The 6-foot-9, 200-pound Bryant is drawing a lot of interest from some big programs including UNC, Kansas and Duke, as well as others.

With the UNC offer, the Tar Heels are now officially in pursuit of the Florida native, hoping to add him to their 2026 class which currently has no commitments.

Bryant hails out of Zephyrhills, Florida and is ranked No. 10 nationally, the No. 3 power forward and the No. 1 player in the state of Florida per the 247Sports rankings.

In addition to picking up a UNC offer, Bryant will also visit Kansas on Saturday for an unofficial visit per Travis Branham of 247Sports. With UNC involved, it would be shocking not to see him on UNC’s campus at some point in his recruitment.

So far, UNC has offered nine players in the 2026 recruiting class.
