MSU Basketball pushing for fans to wear green, white vs. Purdue

[ad_1]

Michigan State basketball is calling on the fans to wear a specific color based on your seat for Tuesday night’s massive home game against Purdue.

Similar to how Michigan State football annually has a “stripe the stadium” game, the Michigan State men’s basketball team is asking fans in the upper deck to wear green and fans in the lower deck to wear white for Tuesday’s game vs. the Boilermakers. Included below is the official X account post from Michigan State that shows the color fans should wear based on their section:

Michigan State comes into this matchup with Purdue off a huge win over Illinois on Saturday. Michigan State has been inconsistent as of late, but a win over the Boilermakers in this matchup would go a long way for their Big Ten title hopes. The Spartans are 20-5 overall and 11-3 in Big Ten play this year.

Purdue’s backs are against the wall coming into this matchup following another home loss this past weekend. The Boilermakers have lost two straight games and now sit at 19-7 overall and 11-4 in Big Ten play.

Tipoff from the Breslin Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. For those who will not be attending the game, you can watch the game on Peacock streaming service.
