WEST LAFAYETTE − Purdue basketball’s quest to challenge itself in the non-conference portion of its schedule came continued with its most recent addition.

The Boilermakers scheduled a home-and-home series with Iowa State beginning next season.

Purdue will host the Cyclones next season and travel to Ames, Iowa for the 2026-27 season. That game adds to a non-conference slate that includes a road game at Alabama, a home game against Marquette and a neutral site game versus Auburn in Indianapolis.

Iowa State currently is 19-5 while Purdue owns a 19-6 records prior to Saturday’s home game against Wisconsin.

The Boilermakers lead the all-time series with Iowa State 3-2, but lost the only non neutral site meeting in the first matchup between the two when the Cyclones beat Purdue 104-96 in Mackey Arena in 1987.
