It won’t be easy against an Auburn team that’s allowing an average of six made 3s per game, but Alabama guard Aden Holloway is going to be out to prove to his former coach and fanbase that he’s a consistent force from downtown after a wavering freshman season on The Plains last year.

Alabama (21-3, 10-1 SEC) has a few X-factors here beyond Holloway. Mo Dioubate’s performances off the bench have been critical, and after showing a 3-point shot in his arsenal Tuesday, he looks even more dangerous. Additionally, in SEC play, Alabama has been outperforming Auburn (22-2, 10-1) in every stat category with the exception of free-throw percentage — separated by three thousandths of a percentage point, though — steals, turnovers (go figure) and blocks.
